Krewe of BOO! New Orleans' Official Halloween Parade celebrates a weekend of festivities and has become a tradition for tens of thousands of people. Happening the weekend before Halloween weekend, Krewe of BOO! is more than just a parade. It's a weekend full of events starting Friday afternoon, 10/20, through late Saturday night, 10/21. Friday's events begin with the Royal Luncheon to the Jazz Second Line through the French Quarter to an afternoon Happy Hour at Pat O'Brien's, ending with the Captain's Party Friday night.

Saturday starts with the early morning New Orleans Zombie Run through the Warehouse District. Paraders line up in the afternoon and the Krewe of BOO! Parade rolls at sundown with V.I.P. Viewing Parties hosted along the parade route. It all ends with a blowout costume bash at the post-parade afterparty, The Monster Mash.

Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival - 10/13 - 15/2023

John Dunlop

Our Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival, established in 2006, continues New Orleans’ historic role in making the blues and R&B among the most influential sounds in the world. The Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival presents many of the top performers from southern Louisiana and Mississippi, plus delicious food and unique visual art. Remember, without the blues, there would be no jazz or R&B.

Gentilly Fest - 10/6 - 8/2023

John Dunlop

Gentilly Fest celebrates all things "Gentilly," including continuous live music on the main stage and gospel tent. Local restaurants and caterers sell sumptuous food and an Arts and Crafts area featuring original works from a variety of craft merchants. The festival also offers children’s activities including pony rides, a kid’s village, and a variety of practical recovery information offered by local business and non-profit organizations. The Gentilly Fest is a 501c3 organization that provides monetary support to the New Orleans Police and Fire Departments that serve the Gentilly community. We also contribute to organizations that provide a recreational or cultural enrichment to our children. This year, Gentilly Fest will also donate funds to Pontchartrain Park and Milne Playground sports programs as well as The Roots of Music.
